10,000 tastes....10 billion reasons Event

Check out this great event in Toronto on August 10th 2011. Yonge & Dundas (Dundas Square) an event to promote vegan living....5000 free veggie dogs , vendors, entertainment & much more! FREE ! 12-6pm

Then in the evening a ticketed event with Gene Baur speaking about 25 yrs with Farm Sanctuary. There will also be an awards event.

Come on out! Snooters is one of the charities funds are being raised for (so exciting!)

The Sheep have arrived!!

We welcome our newest member of the Snooters family !! Timothy & Thomas (Timmy & Tommy) arrived last week via Cedar Row Sanctuary. The 2 boys came from the University of Guelph. There were 36 sheep that the vet students would practice on & then the sheep would be sent to auction. The students banded together & asked that the sheep could be sent to sanctuaries instead. We have 2 & the others have been rehomed to other Ontario sanctuaries.

They are very sweet & funny little guys. We look forward to seeing them romp outside when their shelter is built next month!!

With welcoming Ashli into our "Snooters" family we are having to have a fenced paddock area & run-in shed built in the next month. The cost of this is approx. $6000.
